My story

I spent a few years running my own massage therapy practice. I loved the work and I loved my clients — but I kept noticing that the part of owning a business I was actually good at, and honestly enjoyed, was keeping the books organized.

While a lot of small business owners avoid the financial side of things, I was the one who didn’t mind it. Tracking expenses, reconciling accounts, making sure everything added up — it just clicked for me in a way it doesn’t for everyone.

After stepping away from massage therapy I moved into human resources, which gave me a better understanding of how businesses operate from the inside. Eventually I decided to stop ignoring the thing I kept gravitating toward and launched Carlon Bookkeeping.

Because I know firsthand what it’s like to run a small business and feel like the financial side is always one more thing on an already full plate. I get it — and I know how much easier things feel when that piece is handled.
